What pumpkins.dev collects, why, and how to reach out about it.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
pumpkins.dev is operated by Mohsen Manoochehr, an individual developer based in Tehran, Iran. This page explains what data gets collected across this site and the products it links to, and why.
The short version: there's no ad tracking, no analytics scripts, and nothing is sold to anyone. The site collects the minimum it needs to work.
Browsing the site. The marketing pages — home, about, services, products, docs, resume — don't use analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies, and don't require an account.
The contact form. Your name, email address, and message are sent as an email to info@pumpkins.dev through Resend, an email delivery service, and are kept only in that inbox. The site's servers don't store them, and your address is used only to reply to you. If sending is ever unavailable, the form opens your own email app with the message pre-filled instead.
AI Quiz Generator. The PDF or notes you submit are forwarded directly to Google's Gemini API to generate your quiz, then discarded — this site doesn't save uploaded files or generated quizzes in a database. Your IP address is held in memory briefly to enforce a fair-use rate limit and isn't persisted anywhere.
Tools (`/tools`). Every tool runs entirely in your browser: what you paste or type (JSON, SQL, regular expressions, text to compare, tokens, diagrams, documents) is processed on your device and never sent to this site's servers. Some tools remember your settings or draft in your browser's local storage. Share links carry their content in the part of the URL after #, which browsers don't send to servers — but anyone you give the link to can read it. The JWT decoder never stores tokens or keys and has no share link. The password and secret key generators use your browser's cryptographic random generator and never send or store what they create. Images a Markdown document links to load from wherever they're hosted.
CID accounts. CID accounts are created and managed at cid.pumpkins.dev, CID's own website. Creating one collects your name, email, and password. Signing in there uses a session cookie (via Auth.js); your credentials and the CI/CD data you configure — projects, workflows, server connections, run history — are stored by the CID backend service so the app and your dashboard can show them back to you. On a project shared with others, its members see your name and email, and the runs you start show your name and your computer's name. Inviting someone to a project sends them an email (through Resend) with a link to accept.
Downloadable apps. CID's self-hosted agent and MySQL Tray Controller run entirely on your own machine once installed. Neither sends usage data or telemetry back to pumpkins.dev.
This site sets no cookies. cid.pumpkins.dev sets one essential session cookie to keep you signed in to your CID account. There are no third-party advertising or analytics cookies on either.
